The 'Girls Trip' actress reveals that she has learned how to find people's information and sometimes call the haters despite her 'best' effort not to confront them.

AceShowbiz - As a public figure, Tiffany Haddish is no stranger to criticism. But sometimes the trolling can get out of hands and the comedian is not one who lets it slide. Unlike some celebrities who have learned to ignore hateful comments, she chose to get back at the haters.

In a new profile with the Los Angeles Times, the 44-year-old reveals how she has gone to great lengths to track down her online trolls and sometimes confront them. She says she hired a digital forensics analyst to research where they were coming from and discovered that three quarters of the messages were from bots in Malaysia and Iran.

The funnywoman then created a fake Instagram account using the name Sarah to collect the personal information of her non-robot online bullies. "I've learned how to find people's information - like I pull up the credit report, police records," she shares. "You can do that for $1.99. Sometimes, I get so mad that I'll get they phone number and I'll just call them."

Tiffany says the trolls are often "shocked" she's calling. "They'll be like, 'I can't believe you even saw that.' You did a whole video, b***h! You made a full, five-minute video! On the internet, people think they can just say whatever and you not gonna say anything. I try my best not to, but I'm a human being," she admits.

This isn't the first time Tiffany reveals how she fights those hateful comments. Speaking at the Los Angeles Times Festival of Books at the University of Southern California on April 21, she admitted to using a fake account on X (formerly known as Twitter) to engage directly with those who post about her online has sparked both amusement and admiration.

"And then the internet came out and people got the freedom to talk about whatever they want to talk about. And now I wish I was back to illiterate again," she humorously remarked, highlighting the double-edged sword nature of digital freedom.

"So people show me to talk about me. I don't know why y'all talking about me so damn much, but that's okay. I like to talk about you too," the "Like a Boss" star added, showcasing her unyielding spirit and refusal to be silenced by detractors.
