AceShowbiz - The audience of "The Roast of Tom Brady" may not be feeling Kim Kardashian. "The Kardashians" star was met with booing when she first got on stage in front of the crowd at the Kia Forum on Sunday, May 5.
During the live comedy special, Kim was among those who appeared to roast the former NFL player, whom she was previously rumored to date. Presented by Kevin Hart, the entrepreneur and reality TV star made her way to the podium with a glass of wine in her hand only to get booed by the audience.
As the boos grew louder, Kim awkwardly said, "Alright, alright, alright." Kevin even had to step in, saying, "Whoa, whoa."
However, Kim proved that she got the last laugh as she managed to get people burst into laughter with her jokes about Tom. "I'm really here tonight for Tom. I wasn't going to come tonight, but since I'm not here as Tom's date, there's still a good chance I might," she joked.
The "American Horror Story: Delicate" actress went on to compare Tom's appearance to her step-parent, Caitlyn Jenner. "I do know it would've never worked out," the mom of four said of her relationship with the ex-husband of Gisele Bundchen.
"An ex-athlete, high cheekbones, silky hair… You remind me too much of my stepdad now," she continued. Kim also prepared a meme showing "the evolution of Tom Brady" meme that featured Tom transforming into Caitlyn.
"Part of me thinks you would want to entrust me just to try on my clothes. I know the transition from the NFL must've been really hard, but I think my stepdad is a great example for you. She's one of the best athletes in the world, who proved you could do anything in this next chapter in your life. You can become a commentator, a far-right Republica, or even a strong, confident woman," Kim commented.
Before concluding her toast, Kim joked about O.J. Simpson. "Honestly, it's hard for me to watch people roast you. But I think enough of my family members have helped defend former football players," so she said.
