AceShowbiz - Kris Jenner apparently was among the 50 lucky people who received a jar of Meghan Markle's jam from her new lifestyle brand, American Riviera Orchard. The momager took to her Instagram account to share a picture of the gift from the royal.
The snap featured a basket with a jar of Meghan's limited-edition jam and lemons inside. The Duchess of Sussex also sent "The Kardashians" stars and other recipients a handwritten note, showing off her beautiful calligraphy. "Thank you @americanrivieraorchad," so Kris simply captioned the post, which was shared on Wednesday, April 24.
Internet users, however, noticed that something was off with the gift. "Must of been a late delivery…lemons look wilted?" one X user slammed Meghan. Another wrote, "Good grief Kris Jenner is worth billions but could not afford some fresh lemons these look like she pulled them out of the garbage they look rotten."
"Does Meghan truly expect Kris Jenner to be impressed by strawberry jam in a bowl of bruised lemons and shredded paper? This whole business venture is a lemon. Does anyone believe she'll ever actually sell jam?" someone else questioned. "Meghan Markle could not sink any lower. Nobody decent will have any thing to do with her," one hater added.
Another said, "Sad that her friends have been reduced to the Kardashian/Jenner family. And of course, Kris has to let the world know she's friends with Meg and harry." One other slammed Meghan's product, saying, "Kris Jenner got her money to promote Meghan Markle's garbage … I'm sure she gave it away just as soon as it came."
In addition to Kris, Meghan sent a jar of her jam to Chrissy Teigen and John Legend. The model raved about the jam as she wrote on Instagram, "We jammin!! This might have been one of the best bites we've had all year - all we used is some rustic bread, salted butter, triple cream brie, thick cut bacon and some @americanrivieraorchard jam!"
The former host of "Lip Sync Battle" concluded the post, which was set to Bob Marley & the Wailers' "Jamming", concluded, "Took about 8 mins total and made us happy for the entire weekend."
